Since 2007 – Professor of Department of Natural Sciences of the State Educational Institution “University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus” EMERCOM of the Republic of Belarus.
Since 2003 – part-time Professor of the Department of Laser Physics and Spectroscopy of the Department of Physics of Belarus State University.

Field of research
Expert in the field of scientific researches of fiber and waveguide optics, optical methods and devices the acquisition, processing and transmission of information as well as optical sensors on the basis of the waveguide structures. He participated in 88 international and national scientific conferences. He has published about 280 papers in scientific journals, including 2 monographs. He has 58 patents and copyright certificates for inventions and utility models.

Membership in professional associations
Chairman of the scientific section and a Member of the Bureau of the State Expert Council “Safety of Human, Society and State” of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, Member of the Expert Council of the VAK of the Republic of Belarus and of the Specialized Council for Dissertations at UGZ EMERCOM of Belarus as well as of Scientific and Technical Council of UGZ EMERCOM of Belarus. Member of International Program Committees of a number of international scientific and practical conferences.
