Since 1977 – different positions from Junior Researcher to Head of Research Center of Fire and Rescue Equipment of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fire Protection

Field of research
Research is related to the development of highly effective personal protective and survival equipment. In this field he created and headed a new direction of scientific and technical activities – the creation and tactics of personal protective equipment use against the combined effects of thermal factors of fire, ionizing radiation and aggressive media. He also developed the system of comprehensive quality assessment of personal protective equipment for firefighters. He is an author of more than 100 scientific papers. He has 3 patents for inventions and more than 35 utility and design patents.
