There is considered the elaboration of requirements for the software of automated workplace of the dispatcher of fire and rescue unit. The elaboration of requirements for display format of information on the monitor screen in fire notification transmission systems is also examined. There are proposed variants of information displaying on the monitor of automated workstation, taking into account the presentation of various information attributes, such as: the setup menu, the field for displaying the plan of protected object, the icon field for managing information and its acknowledgment, the field of counter of alarms’ number, the field for changing objects parameters, etc.

The article considers the application of the method for identifying significance and importance of nonlinear relationships between the indicators of population life quality in the Russian Federation regions and the indicators of children’s death in fires. It is shown that the system of nonlinear connections is significantly more complex than the system of linear connections.

The article deals with the development and implementation of the State Armament Program as well as development of weapons, military and special equipment in EMERCOM of Russia divisions. The implementation of the State Armament Program, in terms of EMERCOM of Russia, will raise the level of technical equipment of EMERCOM of Russia forces at the expense of modern types of weapons, military and special equipment for peacetime, the period of the immediate threat of aggression and wartime. The article can be useful for employees of the central office, customers of weapons, military and special equipment of EMERCOM of Russia.

Application of the local variations method for solving applied problems, including fire protection ones, can be associated with overcoming possible difficulties (both of an analytical nature and of a numerical implementation). For the following use of this method it was tested on the so-called "hard" examples taken from the literature. Although the test results should be considered like satisfactory, the applicability of the method for solving specific applied problems can be considered as optimistic.

Based on the experiments it is shown that as the flammable liquid mixtures evaporate, while increasing density and decreasing vapor tension in multicomponent compositions-soluble, the boiling temperature increases. In this case, the flash point of the mixed combustible liquid will also increase. Thus, in the case of spills of flammable liquids there is a fairly rapid depletion of light fractions, the vapor tension at a given temperature reduces significantly, and the boiling and flash temperatures increase accordingly. The dependences of the boiling and flash temperatures of the tested mixed combustible liquids obtained in this work are also typical for other various multicomponent liquid compositions. These dependencies can be taken into account when developing plans for the prevention and elimination of emergencies caused by their spills.

There are presented the results of analysis of approaches to resource support of fire service units of foreign countries (on example of the USA, Germany and China). There is analyzed the practice in terms of rationing the quantity as well as the material and technical support of fire departments. There was revealed fundamental difference in approaches, which is expressed in the degree of state participation in the regulation of issues of management and resource provision of fire departments.

The fire safety requirements for construction of fire tanks are considered. Reservoirs made of thermoset plastics are produced in the Russian Federation and used by construction organizations as fire tanks. It is noted that the lack of relevant regulatory requirements of State Standard GOST and set of rules is an obstacle to application of fiberglass fire tanks. There is concluded the necessity of elaboration of requirements for the design of fire tanks made of fiberglass.

The article is devoted to the problems of using unmanned aircraft systems to extinguish fires in high-rise buildings with continuous supply of compression foam to the fire source. On the one hand, the use of compression foam with a continuous flow from ground source by unmanned aircraft is considered as one of the most promising ways of fighting fires in high-rise buildings. On the other hand the relevance of the article is due to the fact of insufficient study of aforesaid issue. The article presents the results of research on the subject, implemented by the Ministry of emergency situations of the Republic of Belarus and EMERCOM of Russia. There were proposed some directions for further experimental investigations as well as the requirements for fire drones.
